9 Great Places to Shop in Downtown Fargo
If you’ve been to Downtown Fargo recently, you’ve probably noticed the incredible growth, community, and culture that has developed. The network of small businesses is booming and there’s no shortage of great places to shop.
As someone who loves to shop (and support small business), I’m sharing 9 of my favorite places to shop in Downtown Fargo. Whether you’re looking for cute clothes, home goods, plants, crafts, or souvenirs-I’ve got you covered! Here are 9 Great Places to Shop in Downtown Fargo!
Kindred People
Kindred People sells stylish women’s clothing and accessories. They have a great selection of seasonal pieces that are always on trend! Kindred People has locations in Fargo and Alexandria, I’m always sure to visit either when I’m in the area.

Prairie Petals
As a newbie plant parent I have quickly fallen in love with Prairie Petals in Downtown Fargo. They have a variety of plants to fit any level of expertise. In addition to selling house plants they also specialize in fresh and dry flower arrangements made from locally harvested natural flowers.

The Mason Jar Boutique
The Mason Jar Boutique is in the heart of Fargo just across from Jasper Hotel. The boutique has incredible seasonal and trendy pieces in addition to great basics. This is a great place to shop no matter the occasion!

Carmine and Hayworth
Carmine and Hayworth is a great place to shop for vintage clothing and gifts. They have a variety of retro and upcycled clothing pieces for any style! I love the selection of cute, quirky, vulgar (in a good way!) greeting cards that they have for any occasion.

UnGlued
Unglued has to be one of my favorite places to shop in Downtown Fargo! They have a massive selection of handmade goods and crafts to delight any buyer. All items in the shop are made by local artisans! UnGlued will be moving into the BrewHalla in Fall of 2022.

Mint and Basil
In addition to a massive selection of women’s clothing, Mint and Basil has a home goods section that will make any gift-giver overjoyed (so what if the gift is for yourself!). They carry goods such as Fern Candles (made in Bismarck), cards and paper products, sauces and seasonings, mugs and more!

I fell in love with Proper as soon as I walked in the store. They have a variety of cute clothing items to fit any style. They have locations in Fargo and Minneapolis; I haven’t had the chance to make it to the Minneapolis location yet! Proper’s sister shop in Fargo- O’Day Cache is a imported gift shop with a great selection.

Stabo Scandinavian imports brings a touch of Norden style and heritage to Fargo. They have beautiful clothing, jewelry, kitchen items and home goods.

Honorable Mention- Willow District
Although not in Downtown Fargo I have to mention Willow District as it’s a personal favorite. They have beautiful classic and trendy pieces to fit any wardrobe. In addition to women’s clothing and accessories they also have a variety of crystals and air plants.
